There are basically two areas of reconditioning. The first involves repairing or restoring a part to mill specifications. This is commonly done with roll pinions and roll housings that have worn due to normal rolling mill use. We use a few different methods to repair equipment (welding, plating, plasma spraying and/or machining) and can work with you to provide the best solution for your equipment.

The second area is rebuilding. This is like a "tune up" for your mill. From normal usage the bearings and seals will require replacement in all mechanical equipment. Morgan is very familiar with these assemblies and has the knowledge not only to rebuild the equipment but also to diagnose any problems that might cause mechanical failures. We will provide detailed inspection and diagnostic reports for all rebuilds. An added advantage of using Morgan Construction is that once the problem is found we have the facilities to fix it on the spot and not have to wait until the next shutdown.

Morgan Construction Company is committed to providing customers complete service for their mill equipment. We have the expertise to rebuild or recondition all mechanical equipment (MCCo equipment and others) in a steel rolling mill and have considerable experience in the following areas.
