Experience:
Since Morgan pioneered the concept seven decades ago, MORGOIL Bearings
have been the premier load-carrying bearing throughout the world.
The oil-film technology of MORGOIL Bearings is ideally adapted to
all rolling mill applications: ferrous and non-ferrous, hot and
cold rolling.
Reliability: Working closely
with customers, Morgan engineers have continued to refine the MORGOIL
Bearing design over the years, introducing advancements in strength,
durability, accuracy, seal design and lubrication to insure that
it is the most reliable in the industry. MORGOIL Bearings are specifically
engineered to meet the exacting tolerances of today's narrow gauge
bands.
Technology: MORGOIL Bearings
and Morgan Universal Drives are designed and manufactured using
the latest CAD-CAM technology. Solid modeling and finite element
analysis insure design optimization for specified requirements.
Direct numerically controlled machine tools insure that designs
are manufactured to drawing specifications each time, every time.
Continuous Development: In response
to customer demands for increased production and higher quality,
Morgan has made many design changes to MORGOIL Bearings. These changes
have resulted in: improved gauge quality due to lower roll force
variation; improved seal designs reducing oil losses, as well as
water ingress; and reduced time to mount and dismount the bearing.
Reconditioning: Most MORGOIL
Bearings, chocks, and universal drive spindles can be repaired and
reconditioned to original specification. Morgan often incorporates
various advancements to improve performance and part life during
the reconditioning process.
Service: Experienced MORGOIL
service engineers provide training, troubleshooting and mill commissioning
services. Our engineers evaluate the possibility of converting existing
bearings to improved designs.
