Morgan Upgrades Nucor Steel Mill
WORCESTER, Mass., USA, February 7, 2006

Morgan Construction Company has received a contract from Nucor Corporation to upgrade the company’s single-strand rod outlet at the Norfolk, Nebraska steel mill.

“The upgrade includes a new laying head, cooling conveyor modifications, complete new reform tub assembly and coil handling system modifications,” explained Neil Gow, Sales Manager, in announcing the contract, noting this is the first time Nucor has ordered this type of equipment from Morgan.  “Playing a key role in the selection process,” Gow continued, “was the patented and superior technology offered by Morgan.” Installation of the equipment is scheduled for November 2006.
