China Mill Builder Orders MORGOIL Bearings
WORCESTER, Mass., USA, November 7, 2005

The MORGOIL Bearing Division of Morgan Construction Company has received contracts from China Erzhong for MORGOIL Bearings for two hot strip mills that China Erzhong is building in the People’s Republic of China.

One of the new mills is being built for Tiantie Metallurgical Group, Tianjing City, the other for Shandong Rizhao Steel Co., Ltd, Shandong Province.

According to Gabriel Royo, Vice President and General Manager of MORGOIL, "These bearings represent the company’s latest KLX™ technology, which is the highest capacity oil film bearing ever designed and built.

He added, “The new KLX™ bearing is proof off Morgan’s technological innovation, which has made its predecessor, the KL bearing, obsolete.”

Engineering and technical support for these contracts will be supplied by Morgan’s headquarters facility in Worcester, while the equipment and manufacturing components will be manufactured at the company's Morgan-Shanghai manufacturing facility in China."

Delivery for both contracts is scheduled for Spring 2006.

China Erzhong is a mill builder located in Deyang, Sichuan Province, the People’s Republic of China.
