Morgan Introduces Rolling Mill Management System
Worcester, Mass., USA – November 9, 2004

Morgan Construction Co., has announced the availability of a new software product named XpertManager™ that will be offered  to both ferrous and non-ferrous rolling mills worldwide.

According to Dr. Bruce Kiefer, Morgan's Manager, Mill Processing Modeling & Analysis, "This new program is designed to integrate with a mill's production planning and process control systems, which are used in the operation of the mill."

Dr. Kiefer explained, "Receiving real-time data from throughout the mill, XpertManager collectively analyzes the production process and presents information to mill operators and managers. This new level of information will provide the opportunity to significantly improve the overall quality and productivity of the mill.

“In addition," he said, "the information can be shared across a group of mills within the same company to provide other opportunities for coordination of management and improvement of production efficiency of the whole enterprise."
