Morgan to Upgrade Swiss Steel Mill
WORCESTER, Mass., USA, April 29, 2003

Morgan Construction Company, through its subsidiary, Morgan-Europe, of Sheffield, England, has received a contract from von Moos Stahl A.G., Emmenbrücke, Switzerland, to upgrade the Swiss firm's combination mill.

Steve Briggs, Sales Director, Morgan-Europe, who announced the contract, said, "The order includes a new ring distributor and associated equipment for the company's existing rod/bar combination mill.”

He noted that investment in this patented technology allows von Moos to improve the coil package and substantially increase coil weight. "The upgrade is to be designed and supplied by Morgan-Europe," he explained, adding, "The order, which has a short delivery time, is scheduled to be shipped in late July 2003."
