Morgan to Upgrade Keystone Mill
WORCESTER, Mass., May 6, 2002

Morgan Construction Co., has received a contract from Keystone Steel and Wire Co., of Peoria, Ill, for an upgrade to its existing two-strand rod mill.

John Foley, General Manager Domestic Rolling Mill Sales for Morgan, explained that the project includes new water boxes and troughs, partial replacement of Keystone's existing rollerized retarded Stelmor® cooling conveyor, and a Morgan Enhanced Temperature Control System (METCS)."

He explained, "The upgrade is designed to improve both the quality of the product, as well as the efficiency of operation," adding that the equipment is scheduled to be installed during the Keystone's fall shutdown.
