Morgan Achieves ISO 9001 Certification
WORCESTER, Mass., November 3, 1997

Morgan Construction Company has successfully passed its registration audit and has been certified for ISO 9001.

The company was audited in late September by ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc., the Houston, Texas, based registration company that is accredited by RAB in the United States, RvC in the Netherlands, and INMETRO in Brazil. Combined, these organizations are recognized by most of the major countries in the world that have adopted the ISO 9000 standards.

The Certification covers Morgan's headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Worcester, as well as Morgan-Auburn, its recently opened Spare Parts and Guides Division in nearby Auburn, Mass. Another Morgan subsidiary, Morgan-Europe, in Sheffield, England, is both ISO 9001 and 9002 certified.

President and Chief Executive Officer Philip R. Morgan said that ISO 9001 registration will benefit Morgan and its customers by building on its existing Quality Improvement Process. He added, "We are proud to join the growing list of elite companies throughout the world that have been certified as having met the high ISO 9001 quality standards established by the International Organization for Standardization."
